History Of Chandigarh Property Consultant Association:

The need of forming an association of property consultants of chandigarh, mohali, panchkula was felt by some senior / reputed property consultants of chandigarh about 32 years back and a group of property consultats started the formalities to be completed for getting the association registered and Sh. K.d. Sharma was elected the first/ founder president of the association. Since then this process is going on and today we have strength of around 200 members registered with the body and all having proper establishments and standing in the market. The elections of the association are held every year and the members of the association participate in it with very high spirit. At present Mr. Kamal Gupta is the elected president of the association. The elections for the post of president are held every year, thereafter the elected president nominate the other office bearer of his choice for the proper working of the association at present the following are the office bearers:-

In addition to taking care of our business problems within the members of our association and with the administration the association has been holding social activities such as:-

• Organizing blood donation camps.
• Organizing mass marriages of poor girls.
• Donating blankets to poors during winters.
• The association have also donate the ambulance to Kusht Ashram (an organization of the people suffering with leprosy).
• Donation to blind institute, sector 26, Chandigarh. (An amount of Rs. One Lac was donated to blind institute an organization being run by the Chandigarh administration for the welfare of the blind students).
• A Bhajan Sandhya was organized I the month of April -12, in which Sh.H.S.Hooda(Advocate General, Govt. of Haryana was invited as the chief guest).
• A blood donation camop was organized in the market of sector 36, in which 175 unts of blood was collected by the team of PGI., Sh S.K.Setia, JT. Secretary (Estates), Chandigarh Administration was the chief guest. A team of doctors from maini hospital conducted tests for the persons who attended the camp.

At present the association is working on the following project to be held in future:-

• To organize yoga cap by Baba Ram dev ji in the month of Oct -12.
• To organize Kirtan Darbar in the month of Nov -12.
• To organize mass marriage of ten poor girls in the month of Feb -13.
• To organize Gasya Kavi Sammelan in the month of march -13.

In addition to the above social services, the association is holding monthly meeting among the members of the association to discuss various problems being faced by the members individually as well as the association on the whole.
